The Technology Intelligence Platform (TIP) is a JupyterLab-based environment for exploring, analysing, and visualising patent data. It enables users to combine national and international datasets to create insights, track trends, and produce custom statistics within a flexible Python workspace.
TIP includes the ASEARCH Python library, offering ready-to-use tools for patent search, legal status checks, and visualisation using EPO datasets such as PATSTAT, EP full-text, and OPS, with a direct link to the AbS application. The library is pre-installed for National Office users, with example notebooks and guidance available directly in TIP to help you get started.
